Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Chronigo (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1) Not medical advice

Chronigo is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of a qualified health professional with any questions regarding a medical condition.

2) Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old or the age required by your local law.
• You are responsible for your credentials and all activity under your account.

3) Acceptable use

• Use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms.
• Do not disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the Service.
• Do not upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.

4) Subscriptions and billing

Paid features, if offered, may be billed on a subscription basis. Prices and terms are shown at purchase. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions auto renew until canceled in your platform settings.

5) Content and licenses

You retain ownership of content you submit to Chronigo. You grant us a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free license to host, process, and display your content only to operate and improve the Service.

6) Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

7) Third-party services

The Service may integrate with third-party services, including:

Facebook Integration (Optional)

• You may optionally connect your Facebook account to find friends who also use Chronigo
• Facebook is NOT required to use the Service. Facebook is NOT used for signing in.
• When you connect Facebook, your use of Facebook's features is governed by Facebook's Terms of Service and Data Policy
• We request the following Facebook permissions:
  • public_profile: To display your name and profile picture
  • email: For optional account linking
  • user_friends: To find Facebook friends who use Chronigo
• We store only your Facebook User ID, name, and optional email. Your friends list is NEVER stored.
• You can disconnect Facebook at any time in Settings. Your Facebook data will be deleted within 24 hours.

Other Third-Party Services

The Service may link to or integrate with other third-party services (e.g., health tracking integrations, payment processors). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms.

8) Service changes

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service with or without notice. We are not liable for such changes.

9) Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a manner that could cause harm. Upon termination, rights granted to you under these Terms end.

Upon termination or account deletion, all your data (including Facebook identifiers if linked) will be deleted within 24 hours in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10) Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11) Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Chronigo, and its personnel from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12) Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of your place of residence unless otherwise required by applicable law. Venue for disputes will be in the courts with jurisdiction over that location, unless another venue is required by law.

13) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the "Effective date" above and, when appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
