1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Chronigo. By creating an account, downloading the app, or using any part of the service, you agree to follow these Terms.
If you don’t agree with any part of these Terms, please don’t use Chronigo. You can always delete your account and data at any time — no questions asked.
These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information.
2. Who Can Use Chronigo
To use Chronigo, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old if you live in the EU/EEA)
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Be able to form a binding agreement under the laws where you live
If we learn that someone under the minimum age has created an account, we will delete that account and all associated data.
3. What Chronigo Is (and Isn’t)
Chronigo is a health tracking and motivation tool. It helps you log health metrics like blood glucose, blood pressure, and weight. It helps you track medications and build healthy habits through streaks, goals, and friendly encouragement from other users.
Medical Disclaimer: Chronigo is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app should be taken as a substitute for professional medical guidance.
Always consult your doctor, pharmacist, or another qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your medications, diet, or exercise routine. If you have a medical emergency, call your local emergency services immediately.
The health information you log in Chronigo is for your own personal reference and motivation. It is not reviewed by medical professionals and should not replace regular check-ups with your healthcare team.
4. Your Account
When you create a Chronigo account, you’re responsible for:
- Keeping your email and password secure — don’t share your login with others
- Making sure the information on your account is accurate and up-to-date
- Everything that happens under your account (so keep that password safe!)
If you think someone else has gained access to your account, contact us right away at support@chronigo.com.
Deleting Your Account
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. When you do, all of your data — health records, medications, friend connections, profile pictures, and any linked Facebook information — is permanently removed within 24 hours.
5. Acceptable Use
We want Chronigo to be a positive, supportive community. Please use the service responsibly. Specifically, you agree not to:
- Use Chronigo for anything illegal or harmful
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users
- Post content that is offensive, hateful, or inappropriate
- Attempt to access other people’s accounts or data
- Try to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the app or its servers
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the service
- Misrepresent yourself or impersonate someone else
If we find that someone is violating these guidelines, we may suspend or permanently close their account.
6. Your Health Data
You own your health data. We store it to provide the service to you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.
Here’s what you should know about your health data:
- It’s yours. The health readings, medications, and notes you enter into Chronigo belong to you.
- We store it securely using encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+). See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- You can export it. Contact privacy@chronigo.com to request a full export of your data (delivered as JSON within 30 days).
- You can delete it anytime. Delete individual records in the app, or delete your entire account from Settings.
- We never share it with Facebook. No health data is ever sent to Meta/Facebook, even if you connect your Facebook account.
7. Facebook Integration (Optional)
If you choose to connect your Facebook account, here’s what happens:
- We use your Facebook friends list to help you find friends who also use Chronigo — your friends list is never stored, only checked in real-time
- Your name and profile picture from Facebook are displayed within the app
- We store only your Facebook User ID, name, and optional email for account linking
- We never post to Facebook on your behalf, and we never share your health data with Facebook/Meta
Disconnecting Facebook
You can disconnect Facebook at any time from Settings → Connected Accounts → Disconnect Facebook. When you disconnect:
- Your Facebook User ID and any Facebook-related data are deleted within 24 hours
- Your Chronigo account and all your health data remain intact
- You can reconnect Facebook later if you change your mind
When connected, your use of Facebook features is also governed by Facebook’s Terms of Service and Data Policy. See our Privacy Policy for full details on Facebook data handling.
9. ChroniCoach AI
Chronigo includes an AI-powered feature called ChroniCoach that provides personalized health insights and encouragement based on your logged data.
ChroniCoach is not a doctor. It uses artificial intelligence to offer general wellness suggestions and motivation. Its responses are not medical advice and should never replace guidance from a qualified healthcare provider. Always verify any health-related suggestion with your doctor.
- ChroniCoach analyzes only the health data you’ve logged in Chronigo
- It does not have access to your complete medical history
- Its suggestions are general in nature and may not account for your specific medical conditions or medications
- We continuously improve ChroniCoach, and its responses may change over time
10. Content Ownership
Your data belongs to you. The health readings, notes, profile information, and other content you put into Chronigo remain your property.
By using the service, you give us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display your content back to you — and only as needed to run the service. We don’t use your content for advertising, and we don’t share it with third parties for marketing.
The Chronigo app itself — its design, code, features, and branding — belongs to Chronigo. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the app.
11. Service Availability
We do our best to keep Chronigo running smoothly, but we can’t promise 100% uptime. Occasionally:
- The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or updates
- Features may be added, changed, or removed as we improve the app
- Technical issues beyond our control (like internet outages) may affect availability
We’ll try to give advance notice for planned maintenance whenever possible. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
12. Termination
You Can Leave Anytime
You can stop using Chronigo and delete your account whenever you want. Go to Settings → Delete Account and confirm. All your data will be permanently removed within 24 hours.
We May Close Accounts for Violations
If you seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms — for example, by harassing other users, attempting to hack the service, or using Chronigo for illegal purposes — we may suspend or permanently close your account. We’ll try to give you notice when possible, but in urgent situations we may act immediately.
What Happens to Your Data
When your account is deleted (whether by you or by us), all of your data — including health records, friend connections, Facebook identifiers, and profile pictures — is permanently deleted within 24 hours. Backups are purged within 7 days.
13. Disclaimers
Chronigo is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we make no promises or guarantees about:
- The accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any health insights or AI-generated content
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service
- The suitability of the app for any particular medical purpose
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chronigo and its personnel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service.
If you are unsatisfied with the service, your sole remedy is to stop using Chronigo and delete your account.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for fraud or gross negligence.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If a dispute arises, it will be resolved in the courts located in the United States, unless a different venue is required by the laws where you live.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as the app evolves or as laws change. When we do:
- We will update the “Effective date” shown at the top of this page
- For significant changes, we’ll notify you by email and with an in-app notice. Significant changes may require you to re-accept the updated Terms.
- For minor updates (like fixing typos or clarifying language), we’ll just update the effective date
If you continue using Chronigo after we publish updated Terms, you’re agreeing to the new version. If you don’t agree, you can stop using the service and delete your account.

8. ChroniCircle & Social Features
Chronigo includes optional social features to help you stay motivated and accountable:
Privacy Controls
You control what others can see. Visit Settings → Privacy & Data to adjust who can see your profile, streaks, and activity. Your medication details and specific health readings are always private — they are never visible to other users.
Social features are for encouragement only. Users should never give medical advice to each other through Chronigo. If a friend shares a health concern, encourage them to speak with their doctor.
